Brief Description:  Prepare Wing Spars and Skins for Assembly

A lot of prep work accomplished today. Almost ready to start final riveting on the wings. Started by removing both top skins from both wings. Then removed the appropriate areas of the blue protective film, deburred, and dimpled all four skins. Photo #1 shows the DRDT2 at work and photo #2 shows me operating it. After that was done I completed all the countersinking for the skin attachment holes on the top of both main spars. Next time I will need to dimple the top of all the main wing ribs and the top of both rear spars. Then May start riveting the leading edges together, rivet them to the spar, attach the fuel tank and then the rivet the top skins. Of course, I still have to add the electrical conduit, the lights in both leading edges, the pitot tube assembly and lines, but still getting close to having something that resembles a completed wing. Oh yeah, should be able to leak test my right fuel tank next time in garage as well.See ya next time!
