Brief Description:  Prep Leading Edges

Today I realized why things had gone so fast yesterday - I forgot that I had not prepared the leading edge ribs when I did the other batch of ribs. So today, I first prepared the right wing leading edge ribs (6 of them) by fluting, smoothing edges, prepping for primer, and priming. While those ribs were in the paint booth, I disassembled the left wing leading edge and did the same for those six ribs. Then primed them. While they were drying in the paint booth, I assembled the right wing leading edge, then assembled the left wing leading edge. Finally, I enlarged the hole for the left wing tie down. Only thing left on leading edges is to drill all the holes out in the right wing leading edge, then on to the fuel tanks. Last night I ordered 200 more 3/32 clecos since I have used them all on the top skins and both leading edge skins - I don't have any left for the fuel tank. I ordered them express, hopefully they get here soon. Along with that for my birthday, my wife ordered me new locking gas gaps (just in time), my landing and taxi lights, and "how to" videos for fuselage construction, fiberglass work, and the electrical, avionics, and engine. Look forward to watching those.
