Brief Description: Elevator Stiffeners Preparation
Well, long afternoon, but not much to show for it. Spent the afternoon preparing the stiffeners for both th left and right elevators. Didn't quite get them all finished. First, had to cut them of the long stock, then trim the angle in them, then smooth and sand, then drill, then debur, and then dimple. Just have a few left to dimple. Also, started prepping the trim cover reinforcement. Tomorrow hope to clean and prep the metal for primer and get the primer on while I complete the prep of the elevator skins. Might be too ambituous for tomorrow.
