Brief Description:  Prep Rudder Skeleton

Back at it today working on the rudder skeleton. First I cleco'd all the components together to form the skeleton and then cleco'd the rudder skin onto the skeleton (pic #1). Then I drilled all the skin to ribs and spars to final size then disassembled the entire assembly (sure is a lot of put together - then take apart - then put back together). Next was dimpling the ribs and spars and then time to prep all the skeleton parts for primer, hang them up to dry, then prep the skin by removing more of the blue protective film and dimpling the skin. Once the parts were dried they were primed (pic #2) and when dry laid out ready for assembly (pic#3). That's it for the day.
