Brief Description:  Riveted the HS Skin to the skeleton

Billy and Mary came over, but Billy had to work for dinner. We got right to it - riveting the skin to the Horizontal Stabilizer. Billy caught on fast and we got in a pretty good rhythm. We (mostly me) screwed up a few rivets that we had to drill out, but we got pretty good at that too. It was hard in some of those tiny spaces to keep the bucking bar from slipping off the rivet - that's how most of them were messed up; however a few were bad because I pushed the rivet up just as Billy pulled the trigger on the rivet gun. We got them all drilled out nicely and replaced. After finishing up the left HS, we cleco'd the right skin on and blind riveted the forward spar assembly in place and went to work on those skins. Got both left and right done. Now just have to rivet on the rear spar after re-riveting two of the hinge brackets back on - all that for tomorrow. Oh yeah, in the middle of this we were called to Thanksgiving dinner in February - turkey and all the trimmings - only down side was we had to help clean up before getting back to the garage. See ya tomorrow.
