Brief Description:  Built HS Clothespin Stands Drilled out bad rivets

Okay, first off after Rod left I went ahead and drilled out the 16 bad rivets I had on four of the elevator hinge brackets. But before I did (I drilled two additional holes in the center of each bracket (see pic below) that will ensure the brackets get correctly lined up if I enlarge the rivet holes as I drill out the bad rivets. I was able to get all of them out without enlarging the holes too badly but will wait til I get the new Pneumatic squeezer yoke before resetting the rivets here. Once I cleaned up from that mess, I constructed my "clothespin" stands for the HS. Two are shown below and I built a third one so as the HS is assembled it can hold up the completed side while the opposite is being riveted. Even though the plans from Van's don't call for a jig, think if I was to do it again, I might consider building one. Probably will for the wings.
