Brief Description: drill hole for fuel tank filler
Made template for fuel tank filler hole out of plexiglass sheet. Drilled and clecoed plexiglass to rib and spare for correct location to drill fuel filler hole. Cut hole and than installed fuel tank temperary in place to see if hole line up. Hole out slightly, had to reem hole to exact fit. Drilled holes in spar at 20 mm in between existing rivet holes as per upgrade plans. I continued drilling holes the full length of main spare. I noticed the last holes drilled were oval on the extension piece of the spar. To fix this I drilled holes in between the exsisting holes. I drill the length of spare with holes at ever 20 mm for cosmetic reasons, and I guess increasing the strength of wing at the expense of a small weight gain of extra rivets installed the whole length of wing main spar.
