I held the close-outs in place with 4 clecos, but for the gluing in place I chose to use wooden wedges. Clecos would have been better, but would I be able to get them out?
The resin/filler was too fluid, and the seam emtied into the cap, so i added more filler and you see the result.
I screwed them in place to let cure to have the correct distance of the parts
