Brief Description:  Riveting skeleton and top skin to the spar

I got an early start to beat the heat this morning. The hinge assemblies, nose and main ribs were riveted together to form the flap skeleton. Looking ahead in the plans, there are steps toward the end of the build that have you drill out the holes that take blind fasteners to #33. However, by that time the bullnose is closed out and you'd have some shavings floating around inside. I decided to drill out the #33 holes before I started any final riveting.

Of course I wasn't paying close enough attention and I drilled out some holes that I shouldn't have. No worries though. I'll just use some oops rivets in those holes when the time comes.

Attached the leading edge and top skin to the assembly and riveted the fasteners common to the spar/skin. No issues and no bad rivets. The plans called for using AD3-3.5 rivets, but I tried a couple and they seemed to give me an undersized head thickness wise at 1.5D for the shop head. I switched to AD3-4 rivets and the shop heads looked a lot better.
