Brief Description: Created alignment jig for rudder
Because my first rudder had significant twist, I did some research and found a solution one of the other builders used to keep the rudder twist free. This builder created an alignment jig to hold the hinge line and the upper and lower trailing edge corners in a plane.
I measured my first rudder and created an outline of the pertinant geometry. Using that I two support boards for the upper and lower sections and hinge line supports.
I also purchased a couple of laser levels and tripods to help me set the plane when I rivet. Hopefully all of this will result in a straight rudder this time.
