The piano wire for the hinge was bent and inserted into the trim tab hinge. Rather than just measure and bend, I did a lot of test fitting on the elevator to make sure it fit snugly. I'm very pleased with the results. The install was capped off by safety wiring the hinge pin to the structure.
I crimped the mini molex pins to the wires and installed them into the connector. The connection between the WH-00073 wire harness and the server connector was checked and the wire colors matched across the connectors.
The servo was installed in the elevator. I'm not sure how I can test the operation of the servo. It would be nice to align the trim tab with the main elevator trailing edge.
