Brief Description:  Priming left elevator parts, part 1

I bought a new 3M Accuspay paint gun on the recommendation of a friend. It's supposed to be easier to use and much easier to clean up.

I washed the parts in Dawn dishwashing soap and water, rinsed, and gave them a good scuffing with Prekote and maroon Scotchbright pads. This is the time consuming task and as boring as deburing. I bought some new Akzo Noble interior epoxy primer and mixed up a batch.

The 3M gun uses a liner in the cup so no primer will touch the inside of the cup itself. The paint tip is disposible so no clean up there, just throw away the tip and wipe down the needle. Using the gun was pretty straightforward, but I don't think I set it up optimally. That will improve with experience.

The parts came out pretty good. I missed a spot here and there, so I set those parts aside to hit again when I do the skins next weekend.
