The plans call for disassembling the elevators and deburring all of the parts. There is a note saying to mark the parts so they can be reassembled in the same location. In order to do this more easily, I decided to do one side at a time.
I'm starting with the left elevator for no particular reason. I marked all of the parts and deburred everything except the skins. Unfortunately, I broke my crowfoot deburring tool so I had to order another one from Cleaveland Tools. I'll break out the 1 inch scotchbright wheel on my cordless drill and see how well that works on the skin.
Once the deburring is completed I'll start prime this batch. I don't think I'll be able to prime this weekend since it's Easter weekend. I've purchased new Akzo Noble epoxy primer and Prekote so I'm ready to go.
