Brief Description: Match drill inspar and nose ribs. Deburr skin.
The two HS-905 nose ribs that were modified need to be matched drilled. The other nose ribs only have three holes common to the spar, but the inner nose ribs need five. The two additional holes are match drilled from the spar. I'm getting into the habit of using my drill guide whenever possible and it makes a difference. The quality of the holes is better because the guide keeps the drill perpendicular better than drilling freehand.
The inspar ribs are also match drilled in the same manner. Disassemble, deburr and put everything aside for priming.
The skin edges were also deburred and I touched up the interior side of the holes with my hole deburring bit. The exterior holes were smooth and didn't need any further deburring.
Match drilling the nose ribs
Turn the spar over and match drill the inspar ribs
Deburr skins. Clamping them down makes it easier to work the edge with a vixen file.
