I got the table done this spring. I went with 12' long by 40" wide. I made it using TJIs from Lowes, in a torsion box method of construction to help ensure that it'll stay straight. I used 4x4's for legs, cut in different lengths to match the slope of the garage floor. 1/2" carriage bolts are recessed in the legs to level them. I added a shelf underneath to store foam and whatnot.
