Brief Description: Confidence Layup

I don't have any pictures, but today I did the confidence layup. There are 2 plies of UND, 2 Plies of BID, then the slurry covered foam piece, then 2 more plies of BID, and 2 of UND. It was tough getting the cloth to conform to the corner at the edge of the foam piece. Once I got one side down, when I tried to get the other side down, the first side would pop up. after a lot of stippling, I got it to lay in there well enough.
I also tried using masking tape when I cut the glass. I'm not sure if you should take the tape off when you're wetting out the glass or not, since it's supposed to be cut off afterwards. It did make for a cleaner layup, but I might have the tape a little too close to the foam. I'll see when I cut it out for testing.
