I cut shaped and sanded the foam for the confidence layup. It called for green foam, which is pvc, but all I had left over from the practice kit was the blue styrofoam wing foam. It says that this layup is similar to how a wing or canard is constructed, so I just used the wing foam. I would never do this on the plane itself, but this is another practice excercise. I'll do the layup itself when I get some more free time...
