Brief Description:  Flap Seals, Control Rods,

Today I got onto the riveting of the W-1021-L/R flap seals and noticed that I could not get anywhere near the ones theat were in the closed up section.

But with the 'good ol web' was able to find some info to help me.

Van's,

I'm attempting to rivet the W-1021-L/R flap gap seals on my RV-10 QB wing. It appears I'll have significant difficulty reaching in to buck (and inspect) the inboard 5 or 6 AN470AD4-4 rivets because the bottom wing skin is already riveted in place. Is it acceptable to use LP4-3
rivets in this location?

Thanks,

Tim Lewis

Tim,

You guessed right, use LP4-3 blind rivets on the gap seal.

Should be in the plans though..... :-)

Also completed the control rods and the aileron actuator controls that are fixed to the wing root.
