Today Dad and I began the riveting down the turtle deck on the tail and we got all the rivets in on the attachment to the canopy, however, when we commenced on the turtle deck, due to some mis-communication, we ended up with a major dent in the skin. Basically too big to excercise.
I have emailed Vans on replace or move forward. If I need to replace the part will cost $43, however, shipping is likely to cost $250. If Vans says "what are you talking about, build on then I will patch at paint". If it is wn "uhm....looks OK" I will be re-skinning.
I pached it in the meantime, however, that was just to see what could be done. I will toss it if required.
