Over the weekend I mounted the compass and... well....wish I had done this before mounting the dash material.
I needed to get the support bar from the dash out as I was unable to mount the compass without taking it out.
This required me to adjust the overhead console so that the bar couldbe removed and then to try and have it fully square. It is interesting as the balance of the compass seems to be weighed down to one side. I have checked the leveling of the unit and that seems fine so the compass inside seems a little off level.
I amsure when I tune it, the balance will probably be corrected.
