Today Martin Ongley gave me a call and let me know that my Phase II was approved.
So what does that mean?
The aircraft is now approved to fly full IFR incl. night operations, with passengers, from here on in.
It has been a fantastic achievemnent. It has now been effectively 4 full years, and I would guess 2500 man hrs including research and others help, since I commenced this project from the boxes being delivered early January 2010 to now.
I have loved every minute of it, even the frustrating parts, and have learned a lot.
I want to thank again all those who have contributed along the way:
Jacquie and Jamie, Dad, Paul McVitty, Peter Clark, Dan and Andrew, Peter Austin, Martin Ongley, Norm, the VAF community and all the others who have added thier knowledge, experience and help getting to this position. I appreciate everyones help. Thankyou all.
