Today I installed the piano hinge wire retaining plugs and test fit the piano wire.
This solution is fantastic. It only requires that the wire is pushed in to the final 1" and then the final part of the process is then "screwed into place."
I needed to replace the wire as they were the incorrect size, however, they are a great solution.
