Brief Description: Working on Upholstery continues
I continued over the weekend upholstering the cabin area.
I have chosen to run carpet along the floor wells and material along the front panels. This was mainly due to simplicity and the panels will wear quite well. If they don't I can replace with carpet up the panels to align with the rear panelling contours.
I have mainly only completed the cutting of the various carpet sections and velcroed the baggage area and the central stip down the centreline of the tunnel. I still need to complete the final trimming and then velcroe the full system down.
This willalso include the completion of the rear seating to the base and backs.
Although not fire proof and the carpet will propagate a burn, I am looking into treating the carpet for fire proofing with some sprays. Cyndan comes to mind in Australia.
