Today I completed a switch board for the control of the stick grip switches. I would love to take credit for this, however Paul came upwith the idea, I just assembled.
The mounting position is excellent for the management of the cables and the "program" module is very simple but effective.
Basically the "program" module is a 25 pin plug with the 12 pins at the bottom separatedinto two sets of ground. 6 of these pins are for the Pilot grounding of the switches and the other 6 for the co-pilot/passenger grip.
This allows a single grounding wire to control all switches on the grips, and allows for easy switching off the co-pilot/passenger switches. Very cool.
During this period,Pual was doing some more cleaning up of the cabling in the dash area.
