Brief Description: Fitting of the doors to the Cabin top.
Over this weekend, Dad and I have fitted the doors to the Cabin top and drilled the retension pin holes to the door frames.
The right door was not done as well as I had hoped and the front of each door seems to sit out a little bit more than it should. It is is less than 1mm in reality, however, just not right.
The holes on the right door were requiring quite a bit of adjustment before they would sit flush. Also the door seems to require significant effort to get it to sit nicely in the door jam. Inside it seems to be OK due to the larget leaver, however the outside handle takes a lot of effort to turn.
I am hoping with the triming of the door for final fit (i.e. 1/16" gap all around) and the McMaster Carr door seals and the final filler and sanding that the fit will loosen off a little and just stay very firm.
