We wroked on a couple of things on the weekend, between finalising some acces plates, and the wing tip for the left side.
It took a while as the instructions were not clear on the cutting to fit and I stumbled around on the internet. Needless to say, the wingtips were trimmed so that the indentation in the molding fit the wings skin edges.
Platenuts took some time, however, I decided to do the countersinking by hand with the deburring tool. Came out a treat as the softness of the material and the ability to 'feel' the countersink made for beautiful smooth surface.
I was quite troubled with the dimples iin the wing skin, and in the end ground an edge off my #6 dimple die to accomodate the closeness of the ribs to the holes to be dimpled. All worked out well.
