Brief Description:  Fuel Tubing to Firewall

Over the course of today I constructed the last two of the 'primary' fuel lines. They were the fule connection between the electronic fuel pump and the Fuel transducer. The second, from the transducer to the firewall.

Now, the short one, from the pump to the transducer was horrible to make due to the shortness of the tube and the bends required. The first bend was .....ok, however tring to get the sleeve on the other end and then flare it correctly was horrible.

In the end, I needed to basically clamp up the tube sleeve and then hold the flaring tool to the bench with C-clamps as this was the only way to keep the tubing from backing out of the flaring tube.

I will be insulating the aluminium heat transfer tubes as part of final fitout as I think that this could be a significant contributor to the dreaded heated tunnel syndrome..
