Brief Description: Collecting tools required for build
Although tools don't make the tradesman, quality tools can obviously decrease the time one spends on any particular job.
Based on this I have decided to invest in a decent quality tools that I believe will be of benefit to the total build process. I spend many hours assessing the best mix and 'bang-for-buck' items.
The main group of tools that I have purchased is the RV-10 tool set from Isham in the USA, which will be delivered along with my kit in the coming months.
In addition to this tool set I purchased some major items: a good Air Compressor, a quality Drill Press and a Band Saw.
The other moderate items that I have purchased include a Grinder/Linisher, a couple of Vices (i.e. Bench and Drill Press), decent quality torque wrench and assorted bits and pieces.
No doubt there will be some more purchases over time, however, hopefully this will address 90% of the tool set I will require. Only time will tell.
