Today I measured and cut the holes in the sides of the center console side panels that were needed to allow for the dual stick modification to come out from the center of the cockpit. I cut the holes, which went well, and then I clecoed everything in place and realized that the shape of the side panels did not match up with the profile of the top piece of the center console, nor did the bottom of the side panel reach the floor. Whether this was a Zenith error or otherwise I am not sure, but I will go ahead and fabricate new side panels myself with some 0.025" 6061 T6, as they are pretty simple parts to make.
