This was a fun day. Since the autopilot is not a stock part, we had to do some actual engineering to develop the servo mounts. I based it off of a design that a previous Zenith builder had made and we started with cutting the platform for it, which for strength we cut out of 0.063" 6061-T6 aluminum. From there we cut a series of L-angles to stiffen the mount and handle the forces of the servo motion. It was all fitted together and initial drilling was done.
