We have the disk and puck nose gear suspension system, so the top 16 rivets of the original part were drilled out and the top bracket for the new system was drilled out as well. Then the two L-angles for the top were drilled out as well. The rivet gun couldn't get into the L-angle so they were not riveted.. a tool will later be made to turn the stem to an angle.
