Brief Description: Started on the horizontal stabilizer
With the flaperons done, we moved onto starting the tail. We decided to start with the horizontal stabilizer and only went as far as fitting together the rear spar of it. This involved the spar, top and bottom caps, doublers, shim plate, and bracket. The bracket had to be cut out as marked so this was done on the vice with snips and files. Made sure to round the corner of the cut to prevent cracking. Then it was all deburred and clecoed together. I believe from here on out almost all parts are final size drilled which will start to save lots of time.
