Brief Description:  Completing pilot's side flaperons

Today the pilots side flaperons were completed. The top of the skin for the outboard flaperon had already been riveted so the skin was pulled over the skeleton using grade stakes for even pressure and it was clecoed together. The bottom was then riveted, and the same process was completed for the inboard flaperon on the pilot's side. Next the flaperon horn was clecoed in place and the L-angle was cut and drilled out. Once this was done the flaperon horn was riveted on as well. Last step was the tip cap on the outboard flaperon. This was trimmed and inserted to a 20mm overlap and drilled out. I added a rivet on the top and bottom forward of the spar to help hold it to the nose of the skin. To reduce the stress on the plastic material of the tip, "banana type" rivets were used to distribute the force in all but the rearmost holes where they couldn't due to how narrow it was.
