Brief Description: Securing wires and testing components
Spent today making standoffs for any wires going through potential chafing points. The sections of wire that were secured to the standoffs were wrapped in electrical tape for added protection. 14AWG wire was attached to the landing light wires to run out to the wing root, and connectors were heat shrunk. The connectors were attached to the other end and screwed onto the terminals of the landing lights. Using jumper cables from my truck, I tested the landing/taxi lights and the pitot heat, and both worked with no issues!
