Manual Reference:  16 and 17
Brief Description:  Standoff and Cable Assembly (WI-103)

Pic 1. The Manual calls for UF-14 but my Wing Pick List only contained 2 and 4 are needed. When I asked Lockwood to send the parts they replied that there is a new part number UF-26D. I had 4 of these. Funny, they list UF-14 of which you will need 4 but only provide 2 but they send you 4 of UF-26D the new part number but dont use it the drawing. I wish they would keep a log of part changes etc so that the builder could simply refer to the revisions and save both the builder and Lockwood a lot of time. Sometimes the part numbers are SIMILAR to the required part but I don't know how the builder would know they are the SAME. Here are a few more examples just from this page:

The Manual also identifies AN960-4 but it is now AN960-416.

The Manual list AN360-4 but the part is actually AN360-4c

The Manual list WI-104 but the part is actually WP-104.

Pic 2. Completion of Step 16 for right wing. ln my kit the predrilled holes for the Standoff and Cable Assembly (WI-103) that are to be transfer drilled through the Tensioning Rib WI-025 ("the fish") and the Compression Tube (WI-003) as shown on pg 2-29 and 2-30 were not exactly parallel to the front and rear spars. This fact caused a significant problem later. If you have this issue then I suggest you remedy it at this step by ensuring that the both the holes through the tensioning rib and the spar run exacty parallel with the front spar/rear spar.
