Running the PTT from the headset jacks is a bit tricky but was helped with the use of a bore scope.
Pic 1 shows the pilot stick and plastic tubing with protects the PTT lead wire which runs alongside the stick to its top.
Pic 2 shows the wire with tubing protector and it winds its way to the headset jack. The procedure is the same for both front and rear sticks.
The red PTT switch Lockwood provides is too large to fit into the narrow area of the stick near its attachment point shown in Pic 1. I cut the lead of the PTT just below the switch and ran it as a bare wires. I will attach a quick connect near the top of the stick so that the switch can be readily removed and replaced in the field without wiring.
