Brief Description: Install instruments in rear panel
The standard rear panel altimeter is on back order and since they "don't know when they will get it in" they sent me one without a Kolsman window. I sent it back.
My drawing of the rear panel did not label any parts so I did it here. It seems simple enough to put a labled drawing on the Lockwood website but it has not been done.
Pic 3 shows the 2 angle brackets ST32-B with the long side parallel to the fuselage and angled away from the centerline. The panel that came with my kit had a single pre-drilled hole which would place the alingment of the angle bracket along the centerline of the fuselage. I looked at a number of pictures I took of AC's at various events and most kits had the long end of the bracket attached to the vertical poles. I chose to do the same.
