Spent today working on the right hand elevator, worked on riveting on the skeleton together in accordance with vans instructions, all seems to work well. Following that I then placed the skin over the skeleton and started riveting away, overall came out quite nice, very happy with the progress on in so far.
Had a bit of spare time, so then geared up again to roll the leading edges of the elevator, overall not to bad, I can get the leading edge to sit nicely on the skin beneath it, but seem to have issues getting the skin underneath to sit super flat. However it seems workable and the rudder is much the same. Also had the opportunity to trial it on the horizontal stab. Looks great.
