Brief Description:  Right HS Match Drill

Spent today getting the inboard ribs of the right horizontal stabiliser square, neat and correct edge distances! I spent extra time having a good look at all the edge distances and measured about five times for the two extreme holes that go through the angle reinforcement plates.

I still followed the exact process as per vans instructions, and with some careful marking and drilling I managed to get the holes to come out nice and square with plenty of edge distance. So absolutely no complaints.

Once these holes were cleaned up, I pulled all of the ribs in tight with clecos and then moved from the back forward, match drilling the skins to the ribs. Very happy with the end results.

I match drilled one side of the ribs to the skin, still need to do the other side.

I also pulled off the protective film on the inside of the rudder skin and found all of the stiffner brackets ready to be trimmed down.

My plan tomorrow is to finish match drilling, disassemble and deburr, and then prime the rear horizontal spar and attachments.
