Spent the best part of three hours preparing the front spar, spent the time preparing the doubler brackets, front spar, and the angle brackets, did a bit of work deburring all edges now rather than later.
Unfortunately, I messed up when drilling the brackets, really not happy with this mess up. Should’ve spent more time studying the drawings and get the orientation of the brackets right the first time. But it was only $60USD of parts to start again, so wasn’t even going to bother vans about a fix. They are on their way express so shouldn’t be a long wait. I only messed up one side, so I can prep the other side of the (left), including all the dimpling and the match drilling. The only thing that will be left will be match drilling all of the reinforcement angles once it arrives.
