Made the official start on the aircraft, I’ve decided to start on the Vertical stabiliser rather than start on the horizontal stab. There are fewer pieces to the build, simple construction and I mess anything up it wont be a great waste of time.
I started by deburring all the ribs, starting off with a file along the edges to get down all the high points, then finishing it off with scotchbrite wheel on the bench grinder as well as the die grinder. A lot of work goes into deburring and getting a nice edge finish. Happy with the product so far.
