Brief Description: Attempted to bend trailing edge of rudder.
First tried with the 8 inch side of the 2X8. Not much success. Tried with the 1 1/2 inch side. Little better. Called Vans. They said the skin should barely sit above the spar when bent properly. No where close. Used hand seamers. Checked for staightness and found the top part of the rudder is not straight. Appears that I may have squeezed too deep and too hard in the area between the top two stiffeners.
