Decided to fit the canopy better. I ordered parts to modify the latch assy. There has a couple of cases where the canopy opened in flight with some mishap. The latching mechanism doesn't give a good solid feel when it is closed. A new model of the 601XL came out with a different canopy and latching mechanism. I will copy the latch and adapt it to my canopy.
