Manual Reference:  Smoke Oil Pump
Brief Description:  Smoke System Install 7

I like having the pump inlet/outlet at the bottom. Hose out of the tank will come down to a 90 degree barbed inlet, clocked to an unstressed hose position. Exiting out of the left side, I will use some floor mounted adel clamps to run just aft of the flap tube to the side fuselage. From there I will keep it above the floor pans, attached with some adels close to left side, up over the spar, down again and forward to the firewall. I may change hose to smaller O/D neoprene fuel line so it can nestle under the lower longeron along the side wall from the spar to the firewall. Also need to decide best way to bring flap wires, smoke pump wire, flap position sensor wires into the flap housing from the main spar center passthrough and still let the floor panels to be removed without interfering with those wires. Oil valve will attach to the line near my left thigh as I sit in the seat. 2 adel clamps into the existing floor nutplates on each end of the valve will hold it securely for operation with either hand. Now all comes off for priming, painting and remounting.
