Manual Reference:  Smoke System
Brief Description:  Smoke System Install 1

I chose the smoke system put together by Marvin Homsley. I like the fitted aluminum 4.25 gallon fuel tank, the strong pump, the injectors, the hardware including rubber fuel hose and teflon lined SS lines firewall forward. I especially liked working with Marvin. Nice gentleman, knowledgable, and helped me understand whats goes on. I used some clear tubing to simulate FWF lines and determined I needed a 27 inch and 41 inch line to reach exhaust #2 and #3. Drilled 1/4 inch holes in the two pipes and installed the two injectors with the wider, heavy duty SS clamps. I'm not sure what to use yet to seal the threads on the injector to the inner tapped threads of the mating flared steel fitting. System comes with all you need for a complete install. I am looking at changing the firewall bulkhead straight fitting to a 90 or 120 degree flare to 3/8 tube so I can keep the oil line close to the firewall just before it goes through. The provided bulkhead fitting makes the fuel line come back too far towards the rudder pedals.
