The right Mag is being removed to install the ElectroAir Electronic Ignition System for the bottom plugs. This system (EIS1) is for experimentals and develops 70,000 volts for an improved fuel burn. It has two coils, a manifold pressure sensor for spark advance, an electronic controller, a Magneto Timing Housing to replace the right side Slick Mag. I am also replacing my rotary key switch with their EIS13000 Starter switch panel (2 toggle switches and a start pushbutton). This exact system is no longer produced by ElectroAir but is a solid system. I understand they offer a substantial deal to switch to their newer certified system, but not yet, for me.
