Primer day again. All Aileron parts prepared, drilled, dimpled, countersank spar, and scotchbrited. I applied the wax/grease remover and mixed another small batch of primer in the small gun. Also, took out an extra fuselage floor piece and prepped it. Thats a great way to use up extra primer in the gun so it doesn't go to waste. The other day when I primed the inside aileron skin and stiffeners before backriveting and bending, I added my two seat backs to the mix and was able to use up the extra primer that day too. Next up, rivet it all together, wait for a new outer hinge bracket, position and measure the brackets for correct depth and drill the two hinge brackets and spar/ribs to 3/16 for the hinge bolts. I already pilot-drilled the inboard hinge bracket. Did I say that I mistakenly ordered two inboard hinge brackets instead of one inboard and one outboard. I swear I will never get the part #-L and part#-R correct in my brain.
Mini spray gun this time
Guess which one is the inboard rib?
Able to prime fuselage parts with the extra primer
