Brief Description: Install Prop to facilitate mounting lower cowling.
Went as far as I could with the baffles, then removed them to mount the propeller, backing plate, and lower cowling. Removed the heavy duty duct tape covering the crankshaft opening, cleaned out some gook in there, cleaned the internal opening, lubed up the propeller hub and after noting which two locations on the crankshaft hub were flush fits, I positioned the propeller and finger tightened all the propeller nuts. Then slowly wrench tightened the prop. It pulled onto the crankshaft hub nicely. Then I made 1.25 inch wide slot down the measured middle of the sub panel.. 4 times trying to mount the thing and got it right on the last try. Need to be sure the nose gear slot is deep enough to work as designed.
