Woohoo!! Finally down to final assembliy of the wing. It was SO satisfying to rivet the leading edge together in the jig. Drilled out two unsatisfactory rivets. Its nice to look at primed surfaces rather than straight old aluminum for a change. As careful as I was, I still managed to drop the titanium bucking bar while pivoting it around in my fingers. Had two little pointed indentations which were reset using very slight reverse impacts with the flush rivet set and a curved bucking surface inside. One ding will actually be removed when I make the cut for the duckwork landing light opening. On two holes that were very slightly oversized I used an AN426 AD3-4 length instead of AD3-3.5 length. I slowly impacted it and it swelled to fill the hole completely and then I set it. Those two worked out very well. I will make the duckwork cutout and installation and then bolt down and pop rivet and regular rivet the ribs to the main spar. I am so stoked.....
Interior rivet sets..
Inboard most rib with fuel tank attach plate riveted together.
