Brief Description: It gets easier after a few mistakes.
The designer of this practice kit knew what they were doing. They throw in different symbols on the rivet plan and its easy (ask me) to prepare the wrong type of hole for the rivets. Now I understand better about really studying the plans before dimpling or drilling. The spar plans called for two 426s then 4 470s then 2 mp-42s and so on. If this were the real deal, it would be on the wall of shame. But, I'm not going to mount this particular control surface. Besides, I broke my #40 countersink trying to countersink into the corner of a steel backing plate, per the plans. Guess I was pushing too hard, too fast and not enough beolube.
